01 Sometimes being dumb is the only smart alternative. Everything you see is a dream you project onto the world.Children live out their parents unconscious. 

03 Get better at maintaining relationships with friends.

This manifesto is really interesting to me. I like how Mike Mills observe every detail that is happening around him and how he is being both cynical and hopeful towards life and humanity. I think that getting better at maintaining relationships with friends is definitely something I should learn. I tend to stay with my friends all the time when I was in secondary school. Now that I am studying abroad and away from home, it is like the first time being separated from them and I have to learn how to keep in touch with them. 

WORK HARD AND BE NICE TO PEOPLE

Work hard and be nice to people.

I find this sentence actually concludes our lives. Working hard is definitely essential to achieve what we would like to achieve. Working hard could also be  While being nice to people is what every one should do to both make ourselves and others feel good.

OBSESSIONS

Obsessions make my life worse and my work better.

This sentence strikes me most. Like how work and life is being compared to create a contrast. Obsession is something that all of us will have and that when it is applied to our lives, it is always seen as something that is more than enough, something that is not good. Somehow, obsessions make us greedy. However, when it is applied to our work, obsessions always make everything better, neater, and more organised. In the other way, obsession is something that is essential. The contradiction makes it really interesting to think about whether it is negative or positive. Or maybe we should not even label things as extreme as "negative" and "positive".
