SPOTIFY MOCKUP

I looked up the fonts that Spotify uses and did a mockup using Raisa's podcast covers. 

INSTAGRAM MOCKUP

For the Instagram, I suggested to fully make use of the nature of the platform, connecting all the grids of the page and make the feed cohesive. Raisa also suggested to add a "can you relate?" on top to tie up everything. 

I did a mock up on Illustrator and used the drawings that I did and Raisa's podcast covers as the branch posts. The first draft on the left looks a bit too sketchy and unrefined. I struggled a bit to think of how to make the whole aesthetic look more professional. I then noticed that Raisa had played around with the negative and positive space in her designs. I thought that applying this method onto the Instagram page would be a good idea to make the whole page cohesive. After adding some whites onto the design, it definitely looked a lot more refined and neat. 

EVALUATION

I find it really challenging to strike a balance between professionalism and the scribbly theme. As all of our drawings are illustrative under a sketchy and dribble-like aesthetic, maintaining the overall tidiness of the design is not easy.
