29APR CHAT WITH BEN AND PAT ON IDEAS

OLD RATIONALE
Our idea behind our chosen topic is to get people to eat healthy and enjoyable food in a fun way. We are doing this to promote healthy eating. By doing so we are making it more attractive by having it colourful and to grab the attention of our target audience. Also making it as a challenge for people to try and get a colourful basket/trolley so people have fun whilst shopping under the #one of every colour. The layout of our Instagram shows as a conveyor belt, like as if you were shopping at the grocery store. By doing this it makes it more appealing and is as if the customer is actually shopping at a store. The typography of the #one of every colour is in a child like font so it looks funny and not as serious, we did this by using our left hand because it’s our weakest hand.  
It benefits people because sometimes we don’t have time or money to buy a healthy foods so making it at this fun sort of way makes it more appealing and grabs the attention. We think that not many people are eating healthy so we’re trying to promote healthy foods for a better future so that you don’t suffer the consequences of bad health.

  • final outcome account: promoting #one of every colour (aim: bring up the trend)

  • criticising instagram trends that put a negative effect on people’s eating habits 
  • another instagram account would be the final outcome 
  • its more on the idea instead of the physical final outcome, we have to polish the whole package of the instagrams to get people getting into the trend of eating more colours 

  • instagram is having a negative effect on people’s eating habits. People tend to eat all kinds of food just to take good pictures of them for their instagram without thinking of what they are actually intaking into their bodies. This project is to make people eat healthier by eating more colours and to initiate the trend of #oneofeverycolour. The aim is to bring up an Instagram trend that has people taking pictures of different colours they eat everyday.

WHAT TO DO
  • find recipes 
  • colour code meals 
  • colour palettes in rainbow order

INITIAL IDEA
- have cross sections of different kinds of food posted on instagram. The aim is to attract more people to cut food into small pieces and fill their bowls with as much colours as they can. Cutting food into small pieces is definitely the best way to have people eat more colours.
